What is Oregon Madness?
Oregon Madness is the first statewide high school tournament featuring the top teams from all divisions- 1A through 6A.
The event was created to provide an opportunity for high school teams to compete with their peers from across the state at a time when state playoffs will not be offered due to the ongoing pandemic.

The Oregon Madness High School Tournament is a one-of-a-kind, single elimination basketball tournament featuring the top teams in the state, regardless of division.
The event will take place in an authorized “bubble” at a recently-opened, state-of-the-art basketball facility- the PAC Salem. Games will be available for viewing online via the gym’s HUDL camera system.
This is our opportunity to provide our student-athletes with a unique, first-of-its kind statewide format for competitions and a platform to show off the fruits of their hard work and dedication to the sport that they love.
Sixteen teams will participate in the tournament, but only one can take home the title.
Join us from June 28th at The PAC in Salem as we crown the first ever champion of Oregon Madness.
How is this possible with the restrictions?

Our team is partnered with Santiam Health and received full authorization from Oregon Health Authority to run Oregon Madness.
We created a Return to Play manual that covers our process and protocols and ensures adherence to all screening, testing, and activity guidelines, allowing our student-athletes to participate in this tournament and limited spectators to attend games. And based on the guidelines and protocols we will follow, no masks will be required to play!
Who's Invited to Play
This is our inaugural year, so we plan to use last year's final rankings in combination with this year's season results to determine invitations and seedings. Future years will have an independent committee convene for our own "Selection Sunday."

Why Play?

Oregon Madness will be the most exciting basketball event to be held for High School athletes. This will not only allow smaller schools to compete against larger schools, but the tournament will also have a 35 second shot clock and there will be outdoor tent/tailgate activities for all attendees.

A who's who of Oregon basketball will be in attendance, including college coaches, recruiters, NBA skills trainers, social media influencers, special guests and sponsors, and of course, a DJ spinning the best music.
